Secound violinist, Fiddler, That guy you hear playing the essential easy part, that's me :)
I was born in philadelphia pa. I was raised by my mother.
As a young hild i wanted to be a writer, i had a passion for words that was contrary to my enviroment.
I won several writing contest and felt myself only when i was putting pen to paper. I wa soften found to be awkward in my own skin. I often felt the worlds i create were more real than the one i lived in.
At the age of thirteen i went to Egypt, i spent about a year there with an amazing family and got alot of amazing oppertunities. I loved it there and looking back can say that it was the most increadiable time in my life. It might have been there that i fell in love with music, the only yies i had to englisha and america was music. I liked how even though i was in a difrent country music was still relevant even the arabian music spoke to me. I came home deciding i wanted to be a musician.
At the age of thirteen most people would tell you you were too old to pick up an instrument.
I proved the nay sayer's wrong it would be another three years until i picked up the violin.
At the age of fifteen i moved to Waco texas. The most exciting thing to ever happen i n waco was a hurricane in the early 90's so you can imagine my enthusiasim.
I got into alot of trouble at school the year prior and thankfully in waco had a seocound chance.
I won't bore you with the details here but long story short i picked up the violin.
I wanted to play an instrument that not evryone was playing, guitair was too main stream.
My senior year of highschool is when i decided to do anything with music.
At the encouragement of my former classmate and now band mater Michael. I joined orchestra.
Everyone at the school had played scince middle school and vastly outclassed me. I had the technical skills and i also had the drive but i just didn't have the years of experiance that they did. I wa sready to quit.
Pretty close to the end of the year our teachers house burned down. I t wa sthis tragedy that spurred my renewed intrest in music. Our idea was to come up with some sort of fund raiser.
We decided that we'd have a concert in his honor, a suprise. The only problem was we wanted to do more up to date songs, we had no sheet music and no teacher to advise us. The solution, i the guy who had played the least would arrange the sheet music, with a little online research and the key and starting note of everysong i came up with arrangements for
Adeles rooling in the deep
nirvanas-smells like teen spirit
Shobntelles imposiable
and a couple more, i was astounded with how well i'd done and so was everyone else. I discovered that no matter how long i'd played i could do things the others couldn't i brought somthing to the table.
After graduation me and Micheal toyed with the idea of payeing professionally and settled on th ename Nephilim. The rest as they say Will be history.
Check your books in music history we'll be there next to nirvana, ac/dc and Apacalypica :)
